Abandoned Lamborghini Huracan Performante In Canadian Parking Lot Is Begging For Some Love

The Lamborghini Huracán LP640-4 Performante was introduced back in 2017 but it remains an impressive piece of kit despite being replaced by the more extreme Huracán STO since 2020. An owner from Canada though doesn’t seem to share our excitement for the supercar, judging from the dust it has collected while being parked for god knows how long.

The red-wrapped Performante has black-tinted headlights matching the forged carbon-fiber aero components and the black-finished five-spoke wheels. While most supercars come with special covers protecting them while not in use, this one was left uncovered in what appears to be an indoor parking space.

A thick layer of dust is covering the Italian supercar, showing that it has been neglected for several months, or even years. What makes things worse is that someone has written on it using his/her fingers, potentially damaging the paint. We can see a “Beautiful woman, don’t touch my car :)” written on the hood and a heart on the windshield. Next to the car, there is an equally neglected plant and we can see troubling signs of leaks in the concrete floor of the parking space.

The picture was uploaded on Instagram by Supercar.Fails, stating that the Performante was abandoned in Ottawa, Canada without any other information. One of the users in the comments section claims that the supercar belongs to him and left it parked there for a long period of time while he was away for business, but we wouldn’t take his word for it.

Like all Huracans, the Performante is fitted with the naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 which in this case produces 631 hp (471 kW / 640 PS) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through an automatic gearbox, allowing a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (200 mph). The track-focused model is 40 kg (88 lbs) lighter than the regular Huracan LP610-4 while featuring improved active aerodynamics and a new suspension setup. The design of the performance has clearly inspired the Huracán Evo which was unveiled in 2019 with the same power, followed by the STO a year later.
